About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Header Operator and Chaser Bin Operator to join our team at Rural Enterprises. As a key member of our cropping program, you will be responsible for operating New Holland and John Deere machinery to ensure the successful harvesting of our crops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate New Holland CR9070 Headers and John Deere 9200 Chasers with 30T bins
  • Work in a team of 5 to achieve daily harvesting targets
  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment
  • Participate in regular maintenance and upkeep of machinery

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Header Operator and/or Chaser
  • Strong mechanical understanding and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English speaking and communication skills
  • Good attitude and capability to work in a team environment
  • Preferably non-smoker

What's on Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate: Chaser $32-$38, Header $35-$40, negotiable depending on experience
  • Hours: 12-14 hours a day, 6 days per week
  • Accommodation: House in town or on farm
  • Work vehicle provided to go to town for supplies
