Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Family Law specialist based in Hobart with a strong understanding of trauma and excellent communication skills. As an advocate and caseworker in family law, family violence, and child safety matters, you will work closely with other stakeholders and organisations to address client needs and improve legal outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for clients' rights and interests in family law matters.
  • Provide trauma-informed legal advice and representation.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to achieve holistic, victim-centric solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in family law, family violence, and child safety matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in applying a strong trauma-informed legal practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work positively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • A strong personal drive, initiative, and resilience.
