Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our team in the Townsville region. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing clinical care and patient support across imaging and procedural services.

This is a full-time position in a supportive, fast-paced medical imaging environment where nursing skills are highly valued and continually developed. You will work under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse and have the opportunity to develop your skills in Radiology Nursing.

This role involves working Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging from 7.6 hours. After completing a 6-month probation period, you may be required to work Saturday shifts as needed by the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care and patient support across imaging and procedural services.
  • Work under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  • Develop your skills in Radiology Nursing through on-the-job training.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (with medication administration).
  • Minimum 2 years' recent experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Demonstrated IV cannulation skills.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
