This position is responsible for assisting in the delivery of the department's strategic approach to its property portfolio, covering property lease acquisitions, management, and disposals. The ideal candidate will have leasing experience at a senior level, preferably within federal government departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in undertaking property lease negotiations, acquisitions, and divestments.
- Develop leasing strategies to support asset management priorities and property efficiencies.
- Prepare written submissions, briefs, reports, and other correspondence with stakeholders to support property-related decisions.
- Maintain leasing data to support management of the department's property portfolio.
Requirements
- Exercise initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures.
- Provide accurate advice, anticipating problems and contributing to issues management.
- Work positively and collaboratively, with a focus on customer service and maintaining open lines of communication.
- Coordinate work, manage competing priorities, and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
