About the Role

The Embryology Laboratory Supervisor is a key position within our client's organization, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the embryology laboratory. This role requires a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of clinical embryology and laboratory procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and direction to a team of embryologists and trainees, ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services and laboratory routine requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and improve laboratory performance to meet company standards, including compliance with regulatory requirements such as RTAC, NATA, and NHMRC.
  • Employee Development: Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees meet competency standards and maintain continuous professional development.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the laboratory, ensuring all tasks are performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate performance expectations to employees, monitor performance, and conduct performance reviews as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Hold a Master's qualification in Clinical Embryology, Reproductive Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Have experience in a senior or supervisory role, with the ability to resolve conflicts in a positive manner.
  • Skills: Possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team member.
