Biomedical Project Engineer Job Description

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Biomedical Project Engineer to support the development and implementation of state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Australia.

The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering compliant, fit-for-purpose manufacturing facilities and processes across multiple sites with licensure targeted from 2026. As a key leader and contributor in the project team, you will provide support for all project deliverables associated with Construction and HVAC to the new facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting aspects of construction and HVAC works
  2. Design Qualification
  3. Equipment FATs
  4. Off-site Fabrication and On-site installation of equipment
  5. SAT (Site Acceptance Testing)
  6. Commissioning of the Equipment
  7. Qualification of the graded room/facilities
  8. Driving value engineering initiatives and maintaining strategic engagement across multiple local and global business groups.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably in the mechanical discipline) from a recognised tertiary educational institution
  2. A minimum of three years relevant experience, preferably in a project and/or manufacturing environment.
  3. HVAC experience
  4. Experience in commissioning and qualification
  5. Experience in generating documents for commissioning and qualification
  6. Experience in change control
  7. Ability to work independently
  8. Able to troubleshoot and solve problems
  9. Regulated industry experience advantageous
  10. Strong stakeholder management skills
