Rate: $401-447.23 (Depending on Experience) + super

About the Role:

As a Relief Teacher, you will work at various schools within and around Broadmeadows, matched to your skills, preferences, and availability. This role offers a stimulating learning environment and the opportunity to develop strong relationships with local schools.

Key Duties:

  • Actively teach by providing a safe and engaging learning environment
  • Ensure a continuation of learning for students in the absence of their usual teacher
  • Develop a stimulating learning environment by using a variety of styles and approaches to cater for individual learning needs
  • To supervise students in the playground, if deemed necessary

Requirements:

  • Completed a relevant Qualification in Teaching and hold a current and valid Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • Ability to provide contact details for two senior education-based references from within the last 5 years (student teacher mentors are acceptable)

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Adaptable to changing work environments
