About the Role

We are seeking an experienced secondary tutor to join our team at the Kip McGrath Education Centre in Ipswich. As a tutor, you will be responsible for teaching students using our proven methodology, which focuses on literacy and numeracy skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach students in a small group setting, promoting a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Use our state-of-the-art software to plan and conduct face-to-face lessons, minimizing prep time
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with students and parents, providing regular feedback and progress updates
  • Work up to 2-3 sessions a day, Monday to Thursday, in a dynamic and supportive team environment
Requirements
  • A teaching degree or in the final year of your degree
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A friendly, professional, and personable manner
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Confidence using software and computers
  • Genuine love for learning and teaching
  • Reliable, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
