Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and negotiating environmental offsets and carbon sequestration agreements.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop strategies that align with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.
  • Staying abreast of legislative changes and industry trends.
  • Contributing to the firm's expertise in environmental law.

About You:
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of environmental obligations supporting major development projects such as mining, large scale development, and infrastructure projects.
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating environmental offsets and carbon sequestration agreements.
  • Excellent knowledge of land access agreements and arrangements necessary to support major projects.
  • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce accurate high-quality work.
  • Excellent client service orientation with a desire to strengthen and build client relationships to continually contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
