Emergency Care Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking skilled and dedicated individuals to fill a critical role in our operations.


Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced emergency care specialists to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-level medical support in a dynamic and challenging environment.


The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, as part of a team, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.



Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • At least 7 years combined experience in emergency medicine, primary care and remote area medicine
  • Intermediate level computer and database management skills
  • Reliable self-starter with initiative and adaptability
  • Strong team player with good relationship building skills
  • Effective communicator with experience managing mass casualties and triage situations
  • Degree in Paramedical Science or equivalent qualification
  • Current Advanced Life Support Level 2 certification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC) and TBOSIET certifications
  • Recognised competency in Alcohol and Other Drugs sample collection
  • Major Incident Medical Management Support (MIMMS) training


About the Role:

As a key member of our team, you will be expected to work collaboratively to achieve operational objectives while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality.


Successful applicants will demonstrate a strong work ethic, flexibility, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.


They must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders.



Additional Requirements:

The ideal candidate should hold relevant tertiary qualifications, such as a degree in Occupational Hygiene, and have prior experience working in Oil and Gas or Intensive Care settings.


Basic Excel skills and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with TAE40110 or equivalent will also be highly regarded.
