About the Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to lead strategic project coordination and delivery across multiple projects. You will work closely with the Product Team and Leads to guarantee timely, budget-friendly, and priority-driven project delivery.

This is a full-time opportunity with flexible base location, but you may be required to perform work at other campuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and monitor complex projects across TAFE Queensland, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and project deliverables.
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and resource projects effectively.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the product portfolio, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting mechanisms.
  • Lead a team of Project Coordinators, ensuring consistent project delivery, progression according to schedules, risk management, and accurate reporting.
  • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, documentation standards, and reporting tools to support transparency and accountability.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
  • Provide strategic advice on project management across all project stages and contribute to the development of proposals, reporting, and presentations to support new project initiatives and effective communication and outcomes.
  • Manage budget planning and resource allocation for product projects, providing strategic advice to the Product Management team.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to achieve organizational objectives and enhance team performance through well-established leadership skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and sustain successful working partnerships with both staff and stakeholders, enabling the achievement of project goals.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Experience in establishing new processes, workflows, and systems involving software to improve learner engagement in innovative and creative ways.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills related to both online and traditional learning and assessment development.
  • Motivation and Professionalism: High level of personal motivation and professionalism, with a proven ability to drive the development and implementation of quality learning and assessment products in a dynamic, challenging, and changing environment.
  • Technology Utilisation: Proficiency in leveraging new and emerging technologies to facilitate improvements in productivity and project outcomes.
