Job Title: Product Projects Director
About the OpportunityThis role offers a unique chance to lead strategic project coordination and delivery across multiple projects. As the key person in charge, you will ensure successful execution of diverse portfolios, including master product, commercial, funded, accredited, non-accredited, and micro-credential offerings.
You will work closely with the Product Team and Leads to guarantee timely, budget-friendly, and priority-driven project delivery.
This is a full-time opportunity with flexible base location, but you may be required to perform work at other campuses.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and monitor complex projects across TAFE Queensland, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and project deliverables.
- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and resource projects effectively.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the product portfolio, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting mechanisms.
- Lead a team of Project Coordinators, ensuring consistent project delivery, progression according to schedules, risk management, and accurate reporting.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, documentation standards, and reporting tools to support transparency and accountability.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
- Provide strategic advice on project management across all project stages and contribute to the development of proposals, reporting, and presentations to support new project initiatives and effective communication and outcomes.
- Manage budget planning and resource allocation for product projects, providing strategic advice to the Product Management team.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to achieve organizational objectives and enhance team performance through well-established leadership skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and sustain successful working partnerships with both staff and stakeholders, enabling the achievement of project goals.
- Innovation and Creativity: Experience in establishing new processes, workflows, and systems involving software to improve learner engagement in innovative and creative ways.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills related to both online and traditional learning and assessment development.
- Motivation and Professionalism: High level of personal motivation and professionalism, with a proven ability to drive the development and implementation of quality learning and assessment products in a dynamic, challenging, and changing environment.
- Technology Utilisation: Proficiency in leveraging new and emerging technologies to facilitate improvements in productivity and project outcomes.
