Key Role

The APS6 Data Analyst - Technical Costing is responsible for coordinating and managing multiple priorities within defined timeframes while delivering results.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Analysing data collected from aged care and hospital services to inform business decisions.
  • Contributing to the development of cost models for aged care and hospital services.
  • Preparing analytic reports and technical documentation to communicate complex issues to stakeholders.
  • Supporting senior executives in presenting model outcomes and technical insights to external audiences.
Required Skills:
  • Advanced technical and analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in mathematical or statistical analysis and model development.
  • Proven ability to develop clear and efficient code using SAS, SQL, or Python to understand and analyse data.
  • Critical thinking skills, including the ability to evaluate and assess the quality and applicability of complex analysis and modelling.
