Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GMP manufacturing and experience working with chemicals. This is a hands-on role involving labelling and packing products, operating equipment, and occasional storeperson duties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Labelling of containers
  • Packing of goods either solids or liquids (generally non-hazardous/hazardous) in accordance with appropriate Work Order Instructions with limited supervision
  • Knowledge of Work Order Instructions and standard packaging materials
  • Completion of documentation associated with packing requirements
  • Correct use and maintenance of personal protective equipment
  • Correctly pick and return bulk materials and packaging for re-packing operations when instructed
  • Competency in using mechanical filling equipment and associated equipment e.g. labelling machines, cappers
  • Occasional Storeperson duties
  • Label printing and modifications to labels as directed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in a busy GMP manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience working as manufacturing operator with QC experience
  • Great team player attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal + basic computer skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and efficiently
  • Great attention to detail / Takes pride in quality of work
  • Strong ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
