We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Inventory Management Specialist to join our team.
This role requires a dedicated and committed professional keen to bring in improvements and make a difference. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Accuracy: Maintain and update inventory records to track product quantities, shipments, and stock levels accurately across our stores and warehouse.
- Reconciliation: Conduct regular inventory counts, identify discrepancies, and resolve discrepancies with relevant teams.
- Supplier Relations: Communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries, address any supply issues, and maintain healthy vendor relationships.
- Inventory Optimization: Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and reduce carrying costs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, plan for demand, and suggest strategies for improved inventory management.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records and document inventory transactions, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics principles is a plus.
