Job Summary

The Disputes Resolution Officer will provide exceptional customer-focused service for workers compensation claims in South Australia, prioritizing swift and efficient decision-making to resolve disputes expeditiously and fairly.

This role requires conducting dispute resolution processes to optimize worker and employer satisfaction and minimize costs related to disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Making decisions, influencing, and negotiating outcomes that meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders through effective communication and rapport-building.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with various audiences.
  • Sound knowledge of Workers Compensation Claims Management and the Return to Work Act 2014 is essential.

Requirements:

  • Providing high-quality customer service to internal customers, injured workers, employers, and legal representatives.
  • Preparing SAET conferences to facilitate dispute resolution.
  • Liaising with experts to review advice and provide instruction on dispute resolution strategies.
  • Formulating settlement options that balance stakeholder interests.
  • Communicating and actioning dispute outcomes with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining compliance with relevant Acts and RTWSA Instructions to ensure regulatory adherence.
