About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure the security and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud, server, and desktop administration solutions to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architect and Security and Infrastructure Manager to identify gaps in our infrastructure and develop integrated solutions.
- Ensure all security policies and procedures are followed across the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and maintain a high security posture across our infrastructure.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to the technical services and business users.
- Investigate and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
- Assist with incident and problem management processes to resolve technical security issues.
- Maintain awareness of trends in infrastructure development and stay up-to-date with system and network infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in network and system infrastructures, preferably in a large organization.
- Good understanding of IP networking and security principles.
- Experience with cloud, server, and desktop administration solutions.
- DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory administration experience.
- Next Generation Firewalls/IPS experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Servers, Ubuntu Linux, Azure, and other technologies.
- Advance system administration skills and good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create regular reports and dashboards.
- Approx. 3-5 years of business experience in technology, infrastructure administration, project management, financial analysis, business improvement, and process redesign.
