About the Opportunity

The University of Tasmania invites applications for the position of Dean and Head of School for the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics. This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of academics and professionals in creating a globally distinctive and leading business school.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the disciplines of marketing, management, economics, finance, and accounting, as well as learning and teaching, research, and community engagement. They will work closely with colleagues to create a zero-carbon, circular, inclusive, and prosperous economy and society through teaching, researching, advising, and engaging with the community.

The Tasmanian School of Business and Economics plays a vital role in helping Tasmanian businesses and organizations thrive amidst global competition and macroeconomic challenges. The school also assists governments and industries in navigating the state's economic environment.

We are seeking a high-level academic or professional with expertise in fostering environments where businesses can transform and thrive, contributing to sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous economies and societies.
