Speech Pathologist

We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in Weipa, a vibrant coastal community on the west coast of Cape York Peninsula. As a Speech Pathologist with Health Workforce Queensland, you will work collaboratively with NDIS participants and private clients to deliver person-centered services that enhance participation and independence.
With a focus on delivering speech pathology services within a disability sector context, you will develop individualised strategies and clinical management plans that meet the unique needs of each client. You will have a positive attitude and be adaptable to changing circumstances, working closely with families, carers, teachers, and colleagues to achieve shared goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a current AHPRA registration, tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology, and at least 12 months' experience working in a Speech Pathologist role. You will also hold relevant certifications such as a Criminal History Check, Yellow Card, Blue Card, First Aid Certificate, and Australian Driver's License.
This is a permanent full-time position offering a negotiable salary of $85,000-$110,000 based on experience and qualifications. Successful candidates may be eligible for support and financial assistance through Health Workforce Queensland's comprehensive workforce attraction and retention incentives.
