Key Responsibilities
  • Network Management: Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Project Planning: Plan and implement network-related projects, including upgrades, updates, and enhancements.
  • Incident Response: Respond to incidents and resolve issues escalated by the service desk team in a timely manner.
  • Network Monitoring: Monitor network performance to assess the need for updates, upgrades, and enhancements, including preventive maintenance.
  • Documentation: Ensure documentation and procedures are always up-to-date.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Network Engineer, with a strong background in network infrastructure and design.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Cisco Routers, Aruba switches, Fortinet, Juniper, and Palo Alto firewalls, as well as switching protocols, including VLANs, Spanning Tree, HSRP/VRRP, LAG, and other switching protocols used in Enterprise Networks.
  • Configuration and Troubleshooting: Experience configuring and troubleshooting Firewalls, Wireless Controllers, and Access Points, as well as Voice and SIP call flow troubleshooting.
  • Routing Protocols: In-depth understanding and experience of routing protocols.
  • VPN Configuration: Experience configuring and troubleshooting IPSec Site-to-Site VPNs.
  • Soft Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and a quick learner with a willingness to learn and study in your own time.
