Job Description:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment. This includes AWS and GCP, with a focus on operational excellence, security, and reliability.

This is a hands-on role where you will apply your infrastructure-as-code skills using tools like Terraform and Serverless Framework to deliver and maintain our architecture.

  • Build infrastructure using IaC tooling such as Terraform and Serverless framework.
  • Own and deliver non-functional requirements associated with roadmap items, including observability, availability, scalability, and security.
  • Provide guidance to squads on architecture to ensure high availability.
  • Ensure visibility of overall cost and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform periodic reviews of infrastructure across AWS's Well-Architected framework and address gaps and issues.
  • Ensure visibility of infrastructure at the account, project, and service levels by creating and updating Cloudwatch dashboards and other observability systems.
  • Participate and provide input in governance forums.
  • Document and manage infrastructure risks and communicate them to key stakeholders.
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with a strong background in computing and relevant experience in virtualized environments.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computing or equivalent and at least 5 years' experience in virtualized environments like AWS or Google Cloud.

They should also have expert-level knowledge of at least one scripting language and hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Serverless Framework.
