Job Title: Digital Technology Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Technology Teacher to join our team. As a Digital Technology Teacher, you will play a critical role in planning, preparing and delivering high-quality programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Mentor and coach colleagues to improve their instructional practices and provide support to staff to expand their capacity.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching decisions and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader community to support student engagement, agency, wellbeing and achievement.

Selection Criteria

  1. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum design and delivery, including literacy and numeracy skills.
  2. Proven experience in developing and implementing effective teaching strategies that promote student engagement and achievement.
  3. Ability to monitor and assess student learning, using data to inform instruction and make informed decisions.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to the values and principles of education, with a focus on improving student outcomes.
