About the Role:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at integratedliving Australia Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of older clients in the Tweed Heads community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to elderly clients to enable them to stay independent in their homes
  • Experience variety by visiting clients in their homes within Tweed Heads and covering surrounding areas
  • Supporting clients with daily activities and tasks such as cleaning, shopping and, transportation to appointments

Requirements:

  • Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderly
  • Minimum Certificate III Individual Support (or equivalent) is essential
  • Medication assist module is highly desirable
  • Ability to work and travel around Tweed Heads and surrounding areas (with travel up to an hour as required)
  • Current driver's license
  • Registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
  • Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
  • Confidence in using different forms of technology such as a smartphone or tablet
  • Flexible approach to your availability and open to being rostered within work hours of 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday and some weekend shifts
