We are seeking a dedicated and skilled PBS Practitioner to join our team in Canberra. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention approaches that prioritize client-centered and outcome-driven care.
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments, identify restrictive practices, and create comprehensive behaviour support plans aligned with Disability Services Standards and NDIS requirements.
- Provide a range of assessment tools and techniques to support clients and stakeholders in developing and reviewing support plans.
- Advocate for clients, carers, and families to promote choice and decision-making that fosters independence and quality of life.
- Prior experience in Positive Behaviour Support, Applied Behaviour Analysis, or a related field.
- NDIS Workers Disability Check and/or Working with Children Check.
- National police check, WWCC, and a valid driver's license.
- Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption).
- Able to develop and deliver therapy-based programs and assessments.
