About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Functional Specialist to join our Digital Customer Solutions team. In this critical role, you will be the subject matter expert on customer-related functionalities, providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and practical solutions to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
Your deep knowledge of end-to-end system functionalities, applications, and integrations will be essential in shaping Jemena's customer experience. As a Functional Specialist, you will support the business by helping improve and scale systems to meet evolving needs, keeping Jemena at the forefront of the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities- Functional Expertise: Serve as the primary contact for new initiatives, translating business requirements into feasible technical solutions.
- Project Leadership: Lead business initiatives, delivering project expertise and conducting impact assessments on the customer portfolio.
- Governance Framework: Contribute to governance framework implementation, road mapping, and project delivery.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams for accurate estimates and effective stakeholder management.
- Workshop Facilitation: Facilitate workshops to identify customer needs and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
- Mentorship and Support: Provide mentorship and support for business-as-usual (BAU) operations while driving ongoing project enhancements.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Customer and Commercial teams to streamline processes and maximize technology's value.
- Innovation and Engagement: Engage with communities of practice to implement innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience.
- Data Management: Ensure data management, system support, and documentation are compliant with industry standards and best practices.
- Strategic Optimization: Spearhead strategic efforts to optimize Jemena's customer portfolio and drive impactful, sustainable results.
- Background and Experience: Background in Computer Science or relevant experience in project management or business analysis.
- Analytical and Strategic Skills: Analytical and strategic skills with a focus on process improvement and technology integration.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Experience in leading cross-functional teams and resolving complex challenges.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Proven ability to mentor, coach, and foster continuous learning within teams.
- Utilities Sector Experience: Experience in the utilities sector, particularly with customer regulatory and compliance frameworks, is advantageous but not essential.
- Custom-Built Systems and CRM Platforms: Expertise in custom-built systems and CRM platforms is highly desirable.
- Stakeholder Management and Workshop Facilitation: Excellent stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, capable of translating technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing active projects and BAU enhancements to ensure successful outcomes.
