Senior Audio Editor

We are seeking an experienced senior audio editor to join our team. As a key member of the production unit, you will work closely with show leadership to ensure high-quality journalism and engaging narrative storytelling.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Edit episodes for factual accuracy and editorial direction
  • Collaborate with show leaders on episode decision-making
  • Line edit episodes and make final decisions on journalistic or audio calls
  • Pitch and develop episodes with producers and journalists
  • Mentor show producers on journalistic and writing-for-audio best practices

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 8 years of experience in journalism, including 5 years of editing experience
  • Experience in editing narrative storytelling and audio content
  • Excellent news judgment and a sharp editorial ear
  • Audience and industry knowledge, with flexibility and thoughtfulness in decision-making
