Job Overview

Lead mental health improvements in Victoria with a unique opportunity to build and develop your own values-driven team from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions (individual and group) for people experiencing alcohol and other drug issues within Frankston.
  • Help lead/support major mental health reform in Victoria to ensure that everyone is supported.
Requirements

This role requires you to demonstrate clinically meaningful progress towards client-centred goals. You will be part of the launch of one of the first of 60 Mental Health Locals in Victoria, aiming to improve community well-being.

Essential Requirements:
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant governing body as an Allied Health or Nurse professional.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in AOD and/or mental health settings.

The Frankston Mental Health Local offers welcoming, inclusive support for people aged 26 and over experiencing mental health challenges, including co-occurring alcohol and drug dependence.

This clinical role is based within the Frankston Local services but may involve working across all sites to meet demand.
