Job Overview

The Finance Business Partner is a vital role that provides strategic financial support to the business. This position requires an analytical and detail-oriented individual who can effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Month End Reporting
    • Provide month end reporting requirements that meet business needs, including revenue and cost accruals and reconciliations.
    • Review and analyze business results, providing commentary on variances to budget/forecast/trends.
    • Provide inputs for DSO reporting, highlighting exceptional items.
    • Monthly inventory snapshot, focusing on stock turn-over and ageing.
  • Business Support
    • Identify opportunities to deliver value to individuals and teams within our business locations and head office, understanding key productivity drivers and risk factors.
    • Provide high-level customer service to Operations teams and guidance to administrative teams of their business areas.
    • Review and input into financial aspects of tender submissions managed by Commercial/Operational teams.
    • Support business in submission of individual capex requests (financial returns).
    • Work with project teams to establish cost code budgets in Jobpac.
    • Undertake ad hoc tasks/projects as required.
  • Group Budgets / Forecasts
    • Delivery of annual business unit budgets, maintaining forecasting model through consultation with business, including quarterly reforecast.
    • Capex-build spend forecasting and actuals reporting, working with key individuals to call-out deviations on plan.
