Workplace Operations Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Workplace Operations Specialist to spearhead our team's operations in Melbourne.

This collaborative role requires expertise in workplace management and interpersonal skills to create an efficient working environment on-site in the Melbourne CBD.

The ideal candidate will embody a passion for excellence and be driven by a desire to deliver exceptional results. They will lead a team to ensure seamless coordination, planning, and delivery of workplace events.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a team dedicated to providing superior banquet services and outstanding customer experience.
  • Shape a productive workplace and enhance user experience through effective management.
  • Ensure top-tier coordination, planning, and delivery of workplace meetings & events.
  • Optimize workplace functionality by ensuring meeting rooms are reset, stocked, and resolve any equipment and AV issues.
  • Monitor and manage all relevant mailboxes.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach, managing team performance, rostering, and scheduling.
  • Act as an escalation point for client stakeholders.

About You:

  • 5-7 years' experience in Concierge work, Hospitality, Workforce Operations, Events, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong experience in hospitality (food & beverage or banquet).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and influencing stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite required.
  • Willingness to complete background/probity check (National Police Check, ASIC - financial services).
  • Sound time management skills, self-motivated, organized, and ability to work independently.
