We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Educators to join our team as Casual Outside School Hours Educators.

This is an excellent opportunity for students studying a teaching degree to gain valuable work experience with school-aged children.

Casual Educators will cover permanent staff on sick leave or annual leave and must be able to attend a shift with short notice (minimum 4 hours notice).

Shifts range between 2 hours to 4 hours during school terms (morning and afternoons) and 3 - 8 hours during school holidays.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervision of children
  • Engaging with children
  • Food preparation
  • General cleaning and tidying

Mandatory criteria include:

  • A current Working with Children Check Number
  • A COVID-19 vaccination (fully vaccinated)
  • Must be over 18 years old

Desirable criteria include:

  • A current First Aid Certificate (including Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR) or willingness to obtain
  • An understanding of Child Protection and Mandatory Reporting Requirements

This is a casual role, therefore there are no specific or guaranteed hours per week. Must be available to work across both centres.

**Salary**: $32.00 - $33.00 per hour
