Are you passionate about shaping the educational journey of students? We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our vibrant learning community.

The role involves teaching, curriculum development, and pastoral care for students from three-year-old Kindergarten to Year 6. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team of educators who foster inquiry-based education and contribute to the school's professional learning program.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering engaging and inclusive learning programs aligned with the IB Primary Years Program and Australian Curriculum.
  • Participating in curriculum planning, implementation, and assessment.
  • Providing pastoral care and support to students while upholding ethical and professional standards.
  • Contributing to co-curricular programs, assemblies, supervisory duties, and school events.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and the wider community.
  • Upholding the school's policies, expectations, and values in all interactions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in education and teaching registration in Tasmania (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration and a recent National Police Check.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective teaching and learning programs for students across multiple year levels.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team and with parents.
  • Commitment to child safeguarding and alignment with the school's purpose and concerns.
