The Manager will need to balance immediate operational needs with strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the organization's data capabilities.

The key duties of the position include:

  • Lead and manage a team of data engineers, data analysts, and Power BI developers.
  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and security across the organization.
  • Implement data management strategies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address data needs.
  • Develop and deploy business intelligence tools and reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data processes and methodologies.
  • Support efforts to increase data maturity within the organization.
  • Ensure data projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Data Front Door and Data Governance team to ensure alignment on data governance policies and strategies.
  • Align with colleagues in Digital responsible for maintenance of data infrastructure.
  • Collaborate on the development and implementation of data products, such as visualizations and reports, ensuring they meet technical and governance standards.
