Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Department Manager to lead the day-to-day store operations in our Canberra stores. As a key member of the store leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the team delivers exceptional customer experiences and achieves business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the store leadership team in achieving business goals and objectives
- Set an example of best service and coach the team to deliver friendly and helpful advice to customers
- Coach the team on the right service behaviours and assist with inducting and training new team members
- Ensure merchandising standards align with business requirements and coordinate stock effectively
Requirements
- Experience supervising and leading customer-facing teams in a high-safety and high-compliance environment
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for customer service
- Ability to coach and develop others, providing feedback and getting the best out of a team
- Open communication style and a willingness to learn about new products
