Junior Sandwich Artist Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Junior Sandwich Artist. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those looking to start their career in the food service industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting and serving guests, preparing products, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and handling administrative tasks. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and helpful manner while preparing their orders.
  • Explain menu items accurately to guests.
  • Use the Point of Sale system/cash register to record orders and compute bills.
  • Perform Cash-In Procedure, accounting for all forms of money and stock during the shift.
  • Prepare food neatly and according to formula.
  • Check product levels and restock items as needed.
  • Maintain proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean up.
  • Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant to promote a clean image.
  • Adhere to quality standards, formulas and procedures outlined in the operations manual.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Some high school or equivalent education.
  • No previous experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work any area of the restaurant when needed.
  • Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register.
  • Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
