Workshop Operations Manager

This is a leadership role focused on managing the efficient and safe operation of our workshop at Mangoola mine site in New South Wales. We are seeking an experienced supervisor to lead a team of personnel and oversee tyre fitting and maintenance tasks.

About This Role
  • Prioritise and direct a team to perform daily tasks efficiently, effectively and safely.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by providing constructive feedback and promoting safety best practices.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are in place and enforced across the workshop.
  • Lead by example to promote compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Drive a culture of zero harm to personnel and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Tire fitting and maintenance coordination.
  • Team management and supervision.
  • Safety and risk management.
  • Performance monitoring and improvement.
  • Culture development and employee engagement.
Requirements
  • At least two years of experience as a supervisor in the earthmover industry.
  • A relevant certificate or equivalent qualification; AUR21916/AUR21920 preferred.
  • A valid C Class driving licence; HR/LR advantageous.
  • Computer literacy particularly with Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure and possess initiative.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
