Optometrist Career Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis at our Bunbury location.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary package, including up to $130K base pay plus superannuation, negotiable dependent on experience. A 3-4 day roster with set days of Saturday and Sunday, with others flexible, is also offered.

About the Role

You will work closely with our experienced optometry team, including graduates, to deliver high-quality eye care services. Our store is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Perkins technology, Humphries Field Analyser 3, and the ICare Tonometer, as well as a hand-held Autorefractor.

As an Optometrist with us, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied patient demographic, including children, young families, and elderly individuals. We pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all our patients.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong background in optometry, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records systems and other relevant software.
