About the Role

At Laing O'Rourke, we are seeking an experienced Superintendent - Signalling to join our team. As a key member of our multi-skilled team, you will be responsible for delivering various rail projects across Australia, focusing on the expansion of our railway signalling capability in NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with pre-planning and tendering processes to execute works, reviewing and approving resources, scoped works, and sub-partner packages.
  • Consult and assist in the on-boarding process for resources, subcontractors, and sub-partners.
  • Lead and mentor delivery teams, supporting trade resources and management personnel in executing works.
  • Develop and monitor daily prestart and coordination meeting content to ensure a coordinated approach in delivery.
  • Implement the LOR HSEMS system, identify and control 30/60/90-day risks, and provide a safe working environment.
  • Support the development of work packs and understand deliverables across all functions.
  • Organize work sequences to be safe, productive, and efficient, capturing daily records and progress.

About You

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, delivering major projects with a focus on Signalling/ Signalling Civils/ Communications and Electrical works.
