Job Overview

As an Emergency Medicine Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering top-tier medical services in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Perform a broad spectrum of procedures to ensure timely and effective patient care;
  • Lead a talented clinical team in a collaborative, patient-centered environment;
  • Oversee clinical reviews and drive quality improvement initiatives;
  • Mentor medical staff and contribute to the establishment of a Rural Generalist ED training hub;
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, with specialist registration in Emergency Medicine (FACEM);
  • Extensive experience in clinical emergency medicine within an Australian Emergency Department setting;
  • Expertise in managing both pediatric and adult emergencies;
  • Strong leadership, professional judgment, and communication skills in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Proven experience in teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff.
