AI / ML Expert - Generative AI Project Specialist

As a highly skilled AI/ML engineer, you will be part of a dynamic data science team.
About the Role- You will work on an exciting generative AI project for a leading client in the resources sector.
- Collect, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to feed GenAI models.
- Design, implement, and optimize GenAI model solutions, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Embedding Models, Vision-Language Models (VLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and agentic architectures.
- Apply evaluation metrics to track model performance and drive iterative improvements.
- Develop applications using Python with hands-on experience in application development of 6+ months required.
- Deploy and maintain AI/ML pipelines in both cloud and on-prem environments.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- 3+ months hands-on experience implementing and deploying GenAI solutions.
- 6+ months of Python application development.
- Experience with model evaluation, data engineering, and production deployment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML fundamentals and modern GenAI architectures.
