Heating and Cooling Systems Technician

Join a leading company that offers an exciting opportunity for a Heating and Cooling Systems Technician to join their Asset Services team based at Brisbane Airport.

This is a full-time, permanent role that will see you responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of maintenance on critical infrastructure for key clients. You will provide outstanding customer service and technical solutions while ensuring high levels of communication with your team and supervisors.

  • The job involves routine preventative maintenance, corrective/breakdown repairs and installation of a wide range of heating and cooling systems including split systems, ducted systems, motorised dampers and actuators, chilled water fan coil units, condenser water and chilled water system's, AHU's, VSD's, pumps and cooling towers.

As a Heating and Cooling Systems Technician, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously and as part of a team, playing an active role within the broader team.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Demonstrated experience in service/maintenance works
  • Demonstrated refrigeration experience
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Dedicated commitment to standards, regulations and safe work practices
  • Motivated to work autonomously and within a team environment

You will also need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Current Restricted Electrical Licence
  • Current C class Drivers' Licence
  • QBCC Licence
  • Blue/White Construction Card
