Senior Cloud Database Solutions Architect

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cloud Database Solutions Architect to join our team in Auckland. As a key member of our Data and AI specialist team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing best-in-class database solutions for customers across Australia and New Zealand.
Our team works closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and delivers innovative solutions that meet their business needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cloud computing and has expertise in database technologies.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to bridge the gap between business outcomes and technical requirements, and have experience managing large databases ranging from 1-10TB in size. They will also have knowledge of AWS database services and solutions, including Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, and Amazon DynamoDB.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing best-in-class database solutions for all stages of customer and product lifecycles.
- Partnering with Sales, Business Development, and Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment.
- Thought Leadership - Evangelizing and sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, reference architectures, and public-speaking events.
- Acting as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
- Developing and supporting an AWS internal community of related subject matter experts.
