We are seeking compassionate individuals to support residents in living their lives with choice and independence.

About the Role:

  • Support residents to live life on their own terms, allowing them to exercise autonomy and self-expression.
  • Assist residents in one-on-one activities that enhance their well-being, including hobbies and interests aligned with their care plan.
  • Contribute to the physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs of residents through assessment and observation.
  • Deliver a range of personal care tasks, including daily hygiene, as outlined in the care plan.
  • Assist residents who require assistance with mobility, as per their individual care plan.

Requirements:

  • Certificate Level III (Individual Support).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads and manage competing demands.
  • Working knowledge of WHS and infection control principles.
  • Experience working in a similar role in aged care, healthcare, or hospitality.
