The Role

We're seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to oversee the day-to-day operation of our maintenance department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for maintaining all resort rooms and amenities, managing inventories, and performing preventative maintenance tasks. You'll also be responsible for maintaining the resort grounds and gardens, ensuring they're always looking their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain all resort rooms and amenities to the highest standards
  • Manage inventories and perform preventative maintenance tasks
  • Ensure the resort grounds and gardens are well-maintained and visually appealing
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in maintenance and grounds/gardens
  • Understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles and chemical handling
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact with owners and guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Flexibility to work a varied roster, including weekends and public holidays
