Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our team in providing advanced hospital pharmacy practice. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to a clinical ward
  • Ensure safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication management
  • Engage in clinical governance, research, and education
  • Promote stewardship and support quality care
  • Mentor staff, collaborate with teams, and support continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a registered hospital pharmacist
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for interactions with hospital staff, patients, and carers
  • Judgement and independence in problem solving
  • Clinical drug knowledge and experience applying it to clinical settings
