About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Designer to join our team at Barclay Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for designing and drafting hydraulic systems for a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and government initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and draft hydraulic systems, including water supply and drainage networks, using AutoCAD and other relevant software.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure compliance with Australian design standards and local authority requirements.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of building hydraulics and apply this expertise to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Provide technical support to customers and colleagues, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of drawing templates and design knowledge management systems.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in building hydraulics, preferably with a focus on residential projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software, including REVIT.
  • Strong understanding of Australian design standards and relevant legislation.
  • Degree or certificate in building, civil, or hydraulics design.
