This apprenticeship program is designed to develop talented tradespeople, both technically and professionally.

The Role:

Work on fixed plant and equipment, including conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, crushers, ball mills, hydraulics & pneumatics

Use lathes and other machining equipment to manufacture components

Perform welding (TIG, MIG, MMA)

Complete routine and preventive maintenance tasks

Work independently and as part of a team, following safety standards and procedures

Our Program:

Gain a nationally recognised trade qualification, fully supported financially

Learn how to work safely in an industrial environment, complying to high safety standards

Full time work for the duration of your apprenticeship, paid under an Enterprise Bargaining Agreement

Requirements:

  • Completed or currently completing Year 11 with passes in Maths and English
  • Ideal completion of Cert I or II Engineering, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Positive attitude, love of learning and willingness to tackle challenges
