About the Role

Cochlear, the global leader in implantable hearing solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer - Mechatronic to join our Sydney, Macquarie office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement stable, scalable, and reliable manufacturing processes to ensure the viability of Cochlear's operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and introduce automated manufacturing technologies, ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Support supply chain and R&D projects with safe and scalable solutions, ensuring compliance with Cochlear's Quality Management System (QMS) and international regulations.
  • Review and improve compliance and project/launch outcomes, aligning manufacturing technologies with Cochlear's long-term strategy.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar engineering role within a highly regulated industry.
  • Experience in process development, mechanical design, and automation of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong risk management and validation/verification skills.
