Job Summary

The Royal Hospital for Women is a leading tertiary referral and teaching hospital, recognised internationally for the care of mothers, babies, and women with benign gynaecological and gynae-oncology conditions.

About the Role

We seek an experienced administrative officer to provide reception and clerical services in our Antenatal Outpatients Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking patient appointments, handling telephone enquiries, registering patients with the service, and contributing to the development and improvement of the outpatient service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work effectively in a team setting as well as independently.
  • Demonstrate sound problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Previous experience in a similar clerical capacity is required.
Selection Criteria:
  • Able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality customer-focused services.
  • Experience with computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, and previous scheduling experience in a hospital or healthcare setting are preferred.
