About the Role:
The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geriatric Medicine Specialist to join our team at JPS Medical Recruitment. Our client in Queensland has a great opportunity for a Geriatrician to join the unit on a Full Time basis.
The Location:
The hospital is a 305-bed facility and is the main referral hospital for Central Queensland. It provides a wide range of clinical services, including Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Cancer Services, Cardiology, Renal, Palliative Care, Mental Health, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Medicine, Oral Health, Paediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, ENT, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Intensive Care and Anaesthesia.
The Facility:
The hospital is accredited for ACEM, ACRRM and RACGP specialist training. It has a Cancer Care Unit that provides care for local patients, with state-of-the-art equipment and services.
The Requirements:
- Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
- Possess at least 12 months recent Geriatric Medicine experience
- On RACP training program
- Hold or eligible for the FRACP
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- IMG's with RACP interview date
- IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be substantially comparable
