Strategic Account Manager - Defence

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead strategic pursuits and win new clients in Australia's Defence sector. As a strategic account manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy aligned to local and national capability objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to co-create value for clients and navigate complex procurement environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a Defence sector sales strategy
- Winning new accounts and expanding key client relationships across Defence, National Security, and aligned Government portfolios
- Leading strategic pursuits and working closely with delivery, pre-sales, and vendor alliance teams
- Influencing the go-to-market roadmap and helping shape the firm's footprint in Defence

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong track record in enterprise-level B2B sales, business development or account direction
- Demonstrated experience working with or within Defence Primes, CASG, CIOG, ASD or similar
- Ability to align capability to complex client needs with a strategic, consultative sales approach
- Knowledge of ICT procurement and government frameworks
- Contemporary approach to client engagement and credibility to influence senior stakeholders
- Current or active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
