Op Shop Assistant

We are seeking volunteers to assist with the day-to-day operations of our Op Shop. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a positive attitude towards helping others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers, answering their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with receiving and processing donations, ensuring that all items are properly sorted and stored.
  • Support the sales floor team by maintaining a clean and organized store environment, restocking shelves and displays as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude towards helping others.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions.
